Course Details


The three day advanced training will be conducted over one long weekend.  It will begin Friday evening for classroom instruction with a Visual Awareness Presentation.  This is a crucial piece of the training and can save your life. It will reveal the surprising limits of perception, attention, and awareness as it relates to you and other drivers.  You will be better prepared to properly scan for hazards and respond appropriately to avoid a collision.
 
Class will continue the following Saturday and Sunday with MC setup and lot's of asphalt time.Students will discuss Pairs Riding Techniques, Throttle-Clutch Control, the importance of Head-n-Eyes among other peritnent topics.  Sunday afternoon, students will complete the training by "challenging the course" applying all the learned skills and techniques.

Location


The course serves the Pacific Northwest and Canada.  It is centrally located in Kennewick, Washington and is easily accessible from Hwy 395 or Hwy 240.

The weather is mild and dry, providing the best conditions to train in.

Prerequisites


The class is designed for riders who already have basic riding skills.  If you have limited riding experience, you may wish to attend the MSF Training Course
before attending this course.

Arrive at the course mentally and physically prepared to learn.  Dress in appropriate clothing with the following safety gear:
  • Helmet (We can offer training helmets upon request, at no additional cost)
  • Boots (Over the ankle)
  • Gloves
  • Jeans and/or chaps
  • Jacket
  • Clear Glasses
Meals


Although we provide water, meals are NOT provided, however you may bring your own lunch.  Students can also choose to leave the training site during lunch. 

Pricing 3-day


The tuition for the three day advanced training (Friday - Sunday) course is just $449 per rider.  The price also includes the use of our Kawasaki KZ1000 Police Motorcycle, training helmet, course fees, fuel, maintenance, normal repairs and insurance.  Personal safety equipment will be the students responsibility.  Damage to motors, as a result of recklessness, will be the riders responsibility.

A non-refundable* deposit of $199 is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.  The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the first day of class.  Personal or bank checks are preferred methods of payment.
 

Pricing 1-day Refresher**


Tuition for the 1-day refresher course is $149.  A $49 deposit is due at time of booking.  Balance due day of training.

* Should a student need to cancel a class, a minimum of 15 days written notice is required to receive a refund, less the original deposit or $199. If you are able to find an eligible replacement prior to the first day of training, the student will receive a full refund, including the original deposit.
** To attend the 1-day refresher, rider must have previously attended a MotorTraining911 class
